Snowden argues that it is possible to trace the impact of epidemics on art, philosophical thought, religion, the rise of modern medicine — and with it hospital architecture—, on public health policies, and on the configuration of infrastructure. In the mid of the global emergency resulting from the spread of COVID-19, students were invited to speculate on architecture, confinement and isolation.
